Walgreens Rolls Out Mobile Telehealth Services to 20 More States

wallWalgreens’ mission is to reinvent the consumer experience around digital health by making it simple, rewarding and effective, according to Adam Pellegrini, vice president of digital health at Walgreens.

To that end, the company is continuing to grow its digital health efforts, he said during the Connected Health Conference this week. Walgreens’ mobile telehealth services as of Tuesday are now available in 25 states.

In addition, he also announced that the company’s app is now updated with improved integration and functionality for telemedicine, he added.

“We wanted to really do it in a way so that each step made logical, contextual sense,” he said of updates to the app. “It’s the first retail healthcare app that’s fully integrated telemedicine into it at scale.” Announcement
