A common expression among those who deflect aluminum&#8217;s toxicity issues is that aluminum is prominent throughout the earth&#8217;s crust. What they fail to mention is that aluminum (Al) wasn&#8217;t widely bioavailable to humans until the latter part of the 19th Century when it began to be mined for creating metals and medicines.</p>
<p>Now we have aluminum appearing in cookware, wrapping foils, beverage and food containers, underarm deodorants, tobacco, over the counter (OTC) and prescribed medicines, and as adjuvants in vaccines. Al is highly reactive with other chemicals and creates antigens to stimulate immune system antibody responses in vaccines. But the mechanics of these reactions are not understood by Big Pharma.<div class="toggle"></p>
<p>Dr. Exley, has been focused on aluminum biochemical mechanics for two decades, and doesn&#8217;t claim to know all the answers. But he knows how wrong those who do claim to have all the answers are, and they are among the ranks of Al toxicity danger naysayers and the vaccine industry.</p>
<p><strong>Aluminum body burdens</strong></p>
<p>We all have some level of Al in us with which are bodies are coping. The tissues most prone to collecting and storing aluminum are those tissues with a slow cellular turnover. Cells die off and regenerate quickly on the skin, but not so quickly in bone matter, heart tissue and the brain. Those last three organs that don&#8217;t have a rapid cellular turnover are most prone to collecting and storing Al.</p>
<p>Yes, the brain stores quite a of bit Al. And that&#8217;s where MS, chronic fatigue syndromes, epilepsy, ADD, Alzheimer&#8217;s, Guilliane-Barre&#8217; syndrome (a common post vaccination injury) and other neurological disorders manifest. Aluminum compounds that are injected bypass the liver and kidneys and tend to remain in slow cellular replacing tissues.</p>
<p>Non-ingested Al also includes smoking tobacco or marijuana, applied sunscreens and cosmetics and chemtrails. All vaccinations contain Al. Claiming they&#8217;re safe without mercury, as some A1 proponents do, is incorrect. Exley also mentioned that most vaccines contain some iron &#8212; iron combined with aluminum creates a highly biochemically-reactive compound.</p>

<p>In the last 100 years, we have managed to increase the Al body burden considerably. The threshold for Al toxicity varies. <p><strong>Easy methods for eliminating Al</strong></p>
<p>Dr. Exley mentions one agent that pushes out stored Al from our bodies: High silica content mineral water. He mentioned two brands, Volvic, which is sold at various Whole Food and Trader Joe stores, and Spritzer, which is harder to find.</p>
<p>He and his team of researchers have tested the urine to prove high silica content mineral waters do the trick. He even presented anecdotal evidence of Gardasil adverse-reaction victims improving after a few months of drinking this type of water. He recommends drinking a liter a day to reduce your aluminum body burden.</p>
<p>But that water&#8217;s a little pricey. You can order an inexpensive pound of horsetail herbs and make teas and tinctures to accommodate a less expendable budget. <p>As long as there pockets of Al stored in our bodies, the potential for passing the threshold of absolute toxicity exists. Reducing the Al burden is vital for optimum health even when you manage to avoid the most common sources.</p>

Yes, the brain is the prime minister that administers the nervous system and many important bodily processes, but the liver is the royal organ that loyally maintains the body’s inner workings. So you’d be wise to keep your liver happy if you want to be healthy.</p>
<p>The liver is plenty powerful in its role of ruling the kingdom of Bodyland. It removes toxins from the blood, plays a role in protein and hormone synthesis, stores glycogen, and yields bile along with other chemicals that help break down fats and aid indigestion. The liver helps decompose red blood cells, stores blood and regulates how much blood circulates. In other words, the Liver King supervises your inner kingdom, <div class="toggle">ensures its byways are well-kept and keeps the supply lines of water and food operational.</p>
<p>But there’s a problem in centering so many bodily purposes in one organ. When the liver becomes toxic, running in a depressed state or otherwise succumbing to a state of dysfunction, many things become unbalanced. With a domino effect, when the liver slips below par, the body begins experiencing the signs and symptoms of ill health. A poor-functioning liver impacts a frightening number of other organs.</p>
<p><strong>Multiple Difficulties</strong></p>

Yet, in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), the liver is viewed also in terms of indirect effects linked to its dysfunction. In other words, when the liver becomes too hot from excessive alcohol, drug or coffee consumption, it begins to “overact on the spleen and stomach and depress the functions of the heart and kidneys.”</p>
<p>In TCM, the liver is recognized as being responsible for storing and regulating blood, for maintaining the free flow of qi (energy) in the body, for controlling the tendons and manifesting signs of its problems in the nails and in the eyes.</p>
<p><strong>Storing and Regulating Blood</strong></p>
<p>The primary function of the liver is to store up to 55 percent of your total blood volume when the body is at rest. It also regulates how much blood circulates when the body is physically active. In times of emergency, the liver can provide up to 2,000 ml of blood to the heart, giving you greater strength, stamina and mental clarity.</p>
<p><strong>Maintaining the Free Flow of Qi</strong></p>
<p>The liver is responsible for maintaining the easygoing, free-flowing and harmonious functional activities of the body’s Qorgans. At peak capacity, the liver effectively manages the constant movement of energy in the body. When the liver becomes depressed (slow-acting, sluggish), it suffers qi (energetic) stagnation, which can lead to tiredness, fatigue, cloudy thinking, depression and anger.</p>
<p>Emotional shifts and attitudes such as psychological depression, moodiness, loneliness and anger are the root causes of the syndrome known in TCM as “liver qi stagnation.” When the liver qi (energy) stagnates, it can cause complications in the spleen and stomach or in the heart and kidneys, leading to vomiting, nausea, heart palpitations, insomnia, restlessness, dream-disturbed sleep, cloudy thinking, poor digestion, hypochondriac pain, irritable bowel syndrome, dysmenorrhea and PMS issues as well as soft and brittle nails, blurry vision, red eyes, headache, bilirubinemia (buildup of blood-breakdown byproducts) and erectile dysfunction.</p>
<p><strong>The Liver Controls the Tendons and Manifests in Nails</strong></p>
<p>The liver nourishes the tendons as an aspect of its blood-controlling function. Since the tendons attach muscles to bones, this part of its role reflects its control of the normal physiological activities of the body. So when the liver lacks blood and/or is low in energy (qi), those activities deteriorate. The tendons receive insufficient nourishment to stay flexible, and they grow stiff, inflamed and painful.</p>
<p>It is important to note that TCM defines three types of blood: heart blood, liver blood and spleen blood. Each has its own function in the creation, promotion, distribution, cleansing and storage of blood. The state of liver blood is reflected in the health of the nails. When there is ample healthy liver blood, both tendons and nails stay strong. But when there is restriction (stagnation) or deficiency of liver blood, then the nails become soft, thin and brittle.</p>
<p><strong>The Liver Opens into the Eyes</strong></p>
<p>According to TCM theory, each yin (nurturing) organ has a body part to which it opens. In this system, the liver opens into the eyes. Therefore, the nourishment of liver blood is responsible for the proper functioning of the eyes. Indeed, the liver meridian (an energetic line through the body) travels upward through the eye system. Consequently, liver deficiency can lead to blurry vision. Liver heat rising upward can lead to red and dry eyes. Liver dampness can lead to bilirubinemia.</p>
<p>There is much more to the “Chinese liver” than Western medicine recognizes. However, when considering not only its physiological function, but also its meridian route and energetic function, one can begin to understand the vast importance of this organ to overall health and well-being.</p>
<p>From both a scientific, reductive Western perspective and a traditional Eastern viewpoint, the causes of liver dysfunctions are the same. Poor diet along with the excessive consumption of alcohol and drugs (legal and illegal) stress the liver and impair its ability to function properly. Knowing this, it becomes obvious that indulging in poor lifestyle habits that negatively affect the liver leads to a host of problems that are preventable.</p>
<p>You can usually restore the health of the liver by sticking to a liver-friendly routine: Reduce stress, eat nutrient-dense foods and curtail drug and alcohol consumption. A liver-detox program is also a good way to jump-start the liver’s rejuvenation process.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">BLOOMINGTON &#8211; The Web is filled with products and practices that promise to &#8220;detoxify&#8221; the body through various means, from extreme diets to spa treatments to sweating.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Though some may be relatively harmless, the desire to detox was brought to a tragic conclusion last fall when three participants died and several were made seriously ill during a pricey sweat lodge ceremony in Arizona. Self-help guru <st2:personname w:st="on"><st1:givenname w:st="on">James</st1:givenname>  <st1:middlename w:st="on">Arthur</st1:middlename> <st1:sn w:st="on">Ray</st1:sn></st2:personname> was arrested Feb. 3 and charged with three counts of manslaughter in the deaths.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Doctors say the notion that you can &#8212; or should &#8212; undertake special efforts to cleanse the body of impurities is not only not necessary but potentially dangerous. The body has evolved through time to detoxify itself through its own processes, said <st2:personname w:st="on"><st1:title w:st="on">Dr.</st1:title> <st1:givenname w:st="on">Rachel</st1:givenname> <st1:sn w:st="on">Vreeman</st1:sn></st2:personname>, an assistant professor of pediatrics at the Indiana University School of Medicine and co-author of Don&#8217;t Swallow Your Gum! Myths, Half-Truths and Outright Lies About Your Body and Health.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">When it comes to removing toxins from the body, several organs are designed to do just that.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span>    </span>* The liver plays a major role in breaking down and filtering substances from the bloodstream that the body can&#8217;t use.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span>    </span>* The kidneys remove substances such as urea, a byproduct of protein metabolism.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span>    </span>* The gastrointestinal tract, including the colon, is also designed to get rid of what the body cannot use and to keep what it needs.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&#8220;There are myths that toxins clog up or get stuck in these organs,&#8221; Vreeman said. &#8220;That is just not true.&#8221;<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">And without a doubt, she said, sweating definitely would not be the way to go about it.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The primary reason we sweat is to regulate the body temperature. When moisture produced by the sweat glands evaporates, it cools the body.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Though the main component of sweat is water, sweat does contain small amounts of dissolved minerals and trace elements, including sodium, lactate, urea, potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, copper, nickel, iron, chromium &#8212; none of which are considered toxic, Vreeman said.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">When you sweat, the major thing you lose is water &#8212; something your body can&#8217;t survive long without.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&#8220;The term &#8216;detoxify&#8217; is used so often that it makes people think that special steps need to be taken so &#8216;detoxifying&#8217; happens,&#8221; Vreeman said. &#8220;It leads to people not trusting their bodies. Your body, however, does not need special cleansing efforts. What it does need is for you to get enough fluids and to eat a healthy, balanced diet.&#8221;<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">That&#8217;s not to say sweating, or spending time in a sauna, has been proven to have no health benefits.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Some studies have indicated that saunas lower blood pressure, enhance blood flow and improve cardiac functioning in people with congestive heart failure or other cardiovascular disease, Vreeman said. One study found weak evidence that saunas could help with chronic pain, and another showed minor benefits for some with chronic fatigue syndrome. There have been almost no studies done specifically on steam rooms or sweat lodges.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Western medicine has largely ignored sweat lodges, but they continue to play a significant role in Native American culture, said David Delgado Shorter, an associate professor of world arts and cultures at the University of California, Los Angeles.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&#8220;Sweats&#8221; have been used for many centuries to purify the mind and body among tribes throughout the Americas, Shorter said. Women in Mayan and Aztec culture, for example, used them as a fertility ritual, and men among the Plains tribes used sweats in preparation for hunts, among other reasons.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&#8220;The combination of the physical, emotional, psychological and religious is something many tribes find incredibly important and have fought for their right to do that,&#8221; Shorter said.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">During earlier times, when colonial settlers and government agents were sometimes violently suppressing Native American religion and culture, tribes fought to hold on to the tradition, for both spiritual and practical reasons. Sweat lodges offered a private place to sing, pray and gather.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">That&#8217;s why many in the Native American community take offense to non-Native Americans co-opting and charging for participation in sweat lodges, Shorter said.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Anyone thinking of participating in a sweat lodge ceremony or something approximating it should exercise caution, experts say. In harsh environments, hot or cold, the body will work hard to balance how much heat it makes and how much it loses. But if you are in conditions that are too hot for too long, the body may not be able to cool you off sufficiently.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">In Arizona, in addition to those who died, 18 people were hospitalized with burns, dehydration, respiratory arrest or kidney failure, according to published reports. Participants, who had paid $9,695 for the &#8220;Spiritual Warrior&#8221; retreat, said that some people were vomiting, lethargic and collapsing after an hour into the session.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&#8220;These are all signs of heat illness and are warnings that your body cannot keep itself cool,&#8221; Vreeman said. &#8220;Vomiting, thirst, dizziness, being uncoordinated or clumsy are all signs of heat exhaustion or heat stroke. Heat illness can kill you and should be treated as an emergency.&#8221;<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Someone who becomes overheated should get to a cool place, drink fluids and seek medical care, Vreeman said. People with heart conditions should always talk to their doctor before trying a sweat lodge or sauna.<o:p></o:p></p>
