Moisturize and Protect: DIY Essential Oil Immune Support Hand Lotion!

Or maybe you work with children, and they always have runny noses?

Perhaps your job involves cleaning up after others, or serving food . . . or maybe you’re just washing your hands so much that they feel dry and cracked.

How about we make essential oil immune support hand lotion? 

You can use this essential oil hand lotion recipe at any time of day.

Keep a jar in your desk or your bag, and use it just like a regular hand moisturizer. It’s made with essential oils that are excellent for reducing germs and supporting immunity.

This immune support essential oil hand lotion is made in 1 oz (28 g) of unscented natural lotion.

I like to get my natural lotion at Aromatics International online, but you can use any natural unscented lotion that you like!

You’ll also need a 1 oz (28 g) glass jar, or lotion dispenser.

Essential Oil Immune Support Hand Lotion

  • 1 oz (28 g) of unscented natural lotion
  • 7 drops Black Spruce essential oil (Picea mariana)
  • 4 drops Lemon essential oil (Citrus limon)
  • 3 drops Siberian Fir essential oil (Abies sibirica)
  • 3 drops Patchouli essential oil (Pogostemon cablin)

Put the natural lotion into the jar, add the essential oils, and stir gently.

This works best with a glass stirring rod or the handle of a stainless steel spoon.

These essential oils are amazing at reducing the presence of germs! 

I sometimes use them in natural cleaning blends!

Yet they’re gentle enough to use on your hands as needed—especially when blended into something so nourishing as natural lotion.

I love using this immune support hand lotion after washing my hands with my own homemade foam soap.

That way I’m not using harsh substances at any stage of keeping my hands clean and nourished—just pure, natural, supportive plant power!
